MS in finance/financial maths

Hello

Please anybody guide me in selecting universities for fall 2008
I am selected in following universities
1.Uni of Minnesota,Twin cities-Ms in financial maths
2.IIT(iilinois institute of technology)-ms in finance(not financial maths)
3.uni of Dayton,Ohio-Ms in financial Maths

Please suggest me which uni and course is better according to job prospectives.reply soon.thanx in advance.which uni has better placement regarding finance courses

I won't suggest you to go into MS in Financial Maths or Financial Engineering unless you are prepared to spend 50% of your time coding and debugging.This is the dirty secret of quant jobs.Mail me at abhitechie@gmail.com

Hi I saw your reply.As far as job opportunities are concerned to be frank getting a job in such tight market is not an easy job,considering the fact that it may not go into boom phase till Fall 2009.Moreover these degrees are going to cost in lakhs 20 lakhs.
I would suggest you to go to couple of forums namely Nuclear Phynance and Quantnet.org and post your queries regarding your universities,you may try Global Derivates forum also.You can also look in groups in Orkut for MS in Finance in US or for Individual universities like UIUC MS in Finance.

tryin to get a list of top universities..
wer cud i get them..
n i wanted to know more abot ms in finance n computational finance...now tht i am clear tht financial n fin egg n maths r all abot codin n debuggin,..wich clearly i am not keen on...
